I was so misinformed when I was younger. I always thought of Aldi as some scratch-and-dented can store. But when I was on the old blog, I did an article about which grocery store was the cheapest, and Aldi won by a few dollars over Woodmans. (And hey, I’m doing an article about that in the next few weeks!) All the Aldi stores I have been in are really clean and bright. And their produce section has improved significantly over the years. Their specialty diet items like almond milk and gluten free bread are great. But don’t get me started with the Aldi Aisle of Shame, also known as Aldi Finds. The deals there are great, but I try to avoid temptation by not even going down the aisle.
These prices are based upon the Green Bay West location on Western Ave. YMMV for any of the other store locations.
