Get FREE Admission to More Than 100 Museums with one Paid Membership. Here’s the Details

Did you know that if you purchase a membership to your local museum, it could open the doors to museums across the country for FREE? Let me show you an example. It’s called a reciprocal membership, and there are many museums in Wisconsin included!

Brown County’s Neville Public Museum offers a Friends membership program that allows you free admission to other museums around the country.

The Friends of the Neville membership offers free admission to the museum for one year, a gift shop discount, and reciprocal admission to the ASTC Passport Program as well as reciprocal admission to the Time Travelers network. Some of the places include:

  • Barlow Planetarium, Menasha
  • Discovery World, Milwaukee
  • EAA Aviation Museum, Oshkosh
  • Milwaukee Public Museum
  • National Railroad Museum, Green Bay
  • Building for Kids, Appleton
  • Children’s Museum of Eau Claire
  • And other places across the country like the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan, the Field Museum in Chicago, or the Lake Superior Zoo in Duluth.

Time Travelers members include:

  • Hazelwood Historical House, Green Bay
  • The History Museum at the Castle, Appleton
  • New London Public Museum
  • Door County Historical Museum
  • And other places across the country like the Minnesota Historical Society (26 locations,) the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield, Illinois, and more.

What’s really cool is that you can download an app that stores your membership information, so you don’t have to keep another card in your wallet. Memberships start as low as $45/year for an Individual to a Family membership for $75/year.
