National Astronomy Day is coming up on April 25th, and the Barlow Planetarium is planning a fun-filled day of activities, crafts, demonstrations, and telescope viewing. Best part about it — all of those things are FREE.

The following activities are FREE on April 25th at Barlow Planetarium in Menasha:
- Solar telescopes for safe viewing of the Sun (weather permitting)
- Nighttime telescope viewing (weather permitting)
- Life-size model Mercury rocket
- Egg drop contest
- Stomp rockets
- Lunar and Martian crater making
- Astrophotography contest voting
- Nighttime telescope viewing (weather permitting)
- Children’s activity area
- Telescope displays
There are also ticketed shows that day as well. Prices for shows range from $8 – 10. The lineup includes:
1:00 pm: The Great Space Chase
2:30 pm: Laser Pop
4:00 pm: Cosmic Colors
6:00 pm: The Great Space Chase
7:30 pm: Cosmic Colors
9:00 pm: Pink Floyd Double Feature
