Are Warehouse Clubs Worth the Membership Price? Discounted Sam’s Club and Costco Memberships Here!

Over the years, I’ve been gifted warehouse club memberships or bought them on my own. A lot of people wonder if warehouse club memberships are worth the price. Let’s break it down with two of the clubs in Wisconsin: Sam’s Club and Costco.

On the one hand, I’m a west-sider, which makes Sam’s Club more convenient. I got my membership through this Groupon deal and shopped there once. While I did save money on some of the items I bought, I’m sort of a Crunchy Granola-type mom and did not see a whole lot of organic items. But there are some items that I can get there that aren’t available at Costco. I’ll still use my membership from time-to-time and save way more than my $25 membership, that’s for sure.

When Costco came to Green Bay, I tried it out and went in on a membership with my mother. At the time, I didn’t find the need to shop there a lot because I shopped at Amazon and Target a lot. Now, though, I’m trying to rely less on the ‘Zon, so I took advantage of the deal offered below and have already saved a ton. Their price on a Bosch dishwasher was worth of the price of membership alone. There are lots of organic options on everything from fruits and vegetables to granola cereal and obscenely good deals on staples like eggs and butter. I specifically added my college-aged son to my membership instead of my husband so he could go to the cafe and get the $1.50 hot dog and soda combo.
