Hy-Vee has a habit of offering meh deals of the week, and then later in the week have a mini sale with much better deals. This is a closer look at a 3-Day, $.99 Sale weekend. If you can set aside $5 and buy a few things on this list, creating a small stockpile will help your overall grocery spending.
Make Sure to get their Perks Plus card so you can earn Fuel Rewards that can be used at area Shell Stations. There is also a Premium membership available for about a $99/year that gives you more perks/fuel savings, but I suggest waiting until around Black Friday, when I was able to get my subscription for 1/2 off. I’ve saved more than the yearly fee on fuel, by far, so it’s something to consider.
