If you don’t want to fight the traffic in what is sure to be an insanely raucous and happy crowd for Friday’s Green Bay Packers game, you can park and ride the Green Bay city buses for Free.
Green Bay Metro runs four special routes on game days. The routes begin four hours before kickoff and run for approximately one hour following a game, or until 4:30 p.m. following a noon game, leaving Lambeau Field every 30 minutes.
- Cheesehead Route 29 (Austin Straubel airport through Ashwaubenon to Lambeau)
- QB Sneak, Route 30 (route begins at Country Inn Suites on Kepler Drive and goes through Green Bay via Mason Street-Hwy 54).
- Quick Slant, Route 36 services De Pere.
- Lambeau Leap Route 31 starts at the GB Metro bus Depot on University and heads to Lambeau Field via Ashland Avenue.
For people like me who don’t want to pay $20+ for parking, can’t or don’t want to walk, or shouldn’t get behind the wheel because of some serious tailgating, this is a great service. Just wish they would have had it years ago when I hauled my 8-month pregnant butt to the NFC Championship game on bad hips. 
Oh, well. Glad they have the program now.
